As a breeder struggling in this hard American economy, I've been "blessed" by a chance encounter, a great picture finds its way to my website just in time for an avid searcher 4300 miles away to stumble upon it, contact me, and immediately purchase my yearling project for the year (a horse that would have been for sale in November anyway). Saturday she will be picked up by Equine Express and carried in a huge comfy box stall (new mama has spared no expense) to Houston for the required 30 day quarantine before leaving to go to Switzerland, where I'm pretty certain she'll remain for the rest of her life. Her new mother, Christine, is obviously very excited, as this purchase is the result of a long search on her part, and she can finally retire her 14YO show horse to concentrate on Lacey. She has a nice place and a good trainer and children that can grow up with Lacey, who has apparently found a forever home.
So WHY AM I SO FREAKING SAD ABOUT IT??????
